The SO BPO team is experienced in early to mid stage startups and maintains that focus for it's services.
This means we simplify our contracts, hire flexible talent, and train against the latest methodologies.
This is the primary difference in working with us.
Companies preferred outsourcing with multiple vendors before the pandemic. But now, most of them want a strategic partnership with one (or fewer) as per Search It Channel’s study in 2021. - timedoctor.com
This is something we believe in at SO. A more boutique offering allows you to get flexible support with early stage development and get an MVP version of your product to the market or testing phases. Your outsourced team should be an extension of your own.
They should:
1. Provide the engineering talent you need to develop, and support them with a project manager and designer.
2. Quality assurance teams should step in to provide testing support and ensure quality code is being delivered.
3. Then support content and delivery teams help you prepare for supporting users at launch!
At SO BPO, we do all of this and more.
SO BPO Inc is a U.S. based and founded Delaware corporation, with a wholly owned subsidiary in Sarajevo, Bosnia.
SO BPO is founded by a team with years of experience working in the Silicon Valley. We understand U.S. company practices and know how U.S. startup engineering teams operate. This is where many outsourcing teams struggle.
Time can be lost not only in literal translation, but also with poorly integrated teams who don't communicate challenges quickly enough.
These teams don't have the understanding and experience of working directly with startups.
Make sure your partner is aligned with not only your business needs but also your company culture.
Nurturing start-up culture in the lower-cost Balkans - New York Times Article
The past two decades have seen a shift in not only development but mindset from the Balkans. Starting in Romania and Bulgaria more and more talented teams began to develop their own startups. Following the mold of Silicon Valley and other western development teams.
This is greatly beneficial as it has shifted the mindset of engineering and other talent in the area. Balkan teams show more initiative and are more familiar with the flexibility needed for startup and early growth companies.
Serbia and Croatia have now also established themselves as an excellent source of talent for sourcing engineers.
The next market in Bosnia & Hercegovina is well underway and primed as another destination for excellent development.
A positive for Bosnia is it's close ties to the United States both politically and culturally. With American style English being a common second language in the area. Many Bosnian ex-pats have spent years in school and work abroad. Including our own Amer Celjo who directs Bosnian operations.
